Who ever said heritage is boring? In Séné, like elsewhere, festive events (whether they are religious or not, musical or sporty) play an important role in the town’s history but also in daily life. Families, groups of friends and neighbours return each year and immediately look forward to the next one! In Séné, some celebrations have been held for centuries and have been able to adapt to changes in lifestyle, while others haven’t survived the changes within society and have disappeared. And other events only appeared very recently but have already found their place in the heart and in the annual events' calendar of the Sinagots.
